Methodology. Profile indicators come from the Business Incubator Survey (Technopolis Group, 2026), with 10 responses. Territorial coverage and the directory are based on the 22 profiles in Annex 5 of the Study; results should be read as an indicative picture of the network, not as an exhaustive census.

Context

Incubators are among the main drivers of skills development and economic diversification in the Algarve. By hosting entrepreneurs, startups and early-stage small businesses, they provide space, mentoring, networking, training and access to funding — conditions that help turn ideas into businesses and, above all, retain skilled talent in the region that might otherwise move to larger centres. This dashboard brings together the main indicators on Algarve incubators, based on the Study on Critical Competitiveness Factors for Algarve Incubators (AMAL / Algarve Empreende 2026 Project). It combines profile indicators, the network’s territorial coverage and a directory of existing incubator contacts.
